1. What ages does this book cover?
The book captures your baby’s journey from pregnancy through age five, including monthly milestones, firsts, celebrations, and special memories.
2. How detailed is the pregnancy bit?
The pregnancy section is intentionally simple because our Pregnancy Journal is designed for capturing all the detailed reflections, appointments, and trimester updates.
3. When does the book start?
The book begins with finding out about being pregnant, so you can start documenting your journey from the very beginning.
4. When does the book end?
The book ends at five years old. From there, you can enjoy our School Years Memory Book which covers preschool to 12th grade graduation.
5. Is the book suitable for all families?
Yes. All wording is thoughtfully designed with no references to “mum” or “dad”, making it suitable for adoption, single parents, rainbow families, and traditional families.
6. Can I add photos of any size?
This style includes illustrated square photo borders. Simply print square photos and place them inside the frames for a clean, guided finish.
7. Does the book come with a box?
Every book comes in a kraft packaging box to protect it during delivery. Many families also choose to keep their book stored inside the box for safekeeping.
8. Can I add extra pages?
Unfortunately, no. Because the book uses a fixed spiral binding, the page count cannot be changed. However, there are 4 blank pages at the end for extra photos, notes, or keepsakes.
9. Can I start the book if my baby is already older?
Yes - the guided layouts make it easy to fill in memories retrospectively without feeling overwhelmed.
10. Where is the book made?
Designed on the Sunshine Coast, Australia, and made with care by our trusted partners in China, who’ve worked alongside us since 2015.
11. What’s the best pen to use?
Any regular pen works perfectly - our 200gsm non-bleed, acid-free pages are designed to handle standard pens without smudging or bleeding.
12. How do I attach photos to the pages?
Most parents use a simple glue stick. You can also use photo sticky corners or washi tape if you prefer a more decorative or scrapbook-style look.
13. What’s the difference between the square books and the rectangle Baby Memory Books?
Both styles are beautiful - it just depends on the type of memory-keeper you are:
Square Books aka The Storybook Collection (this book):
These are more like a story-style book. They’re heavily illustrated, very guided, and use square photo spaces where you simply pop your photos in. The prompts walk you step-by-step, making them perfect for someone who wants structure and direction.
Rectangle Baby Memory Books aka The Signature Collection:
These offer more white space and flexibility. Not every page is illustrated, there are no fixed photo borders, and layouts are more open. You can write freely, stick in photos of any size, and personalise it your way. They’re ideal for parents who like a bit more freedom and a clean, modern aesthetic.
Both styles are equally gorgeous - it just comes down to how guided or free-flowing you prefer your memory-keeping experience to be.
